Family attempted to file a FIR on December 10, 2009. Kanchanpur DPO refused. They also appealed to CDO Kanchanpur. He also refused. The family approached the [] Appellate Court and obtained an order of mandamus on February 15, 2010. On August 4, 2010, the police finally registered the FIR.
