25 April 2012. The Oxford Journals of Human Rights Practice, the online journal of the University of Oxford, published an online article on 11 April 2012 acknowledging the activities like prevention of torture, illegal detention and other human rights violations carried out under the aegis of Advocacy Forum (AF). The article has thoroughly put in a nutshell AF’s intervention approach since its inception against torture practices in Nepal. The article has dubbed AF’s torture prevention model as an “effective intervention strategy” and ideal for “other NGOs and human rights practitioners around the world to devise their own effective torture prevention strategy”.
