19 September 2011. The District Police Office (DPO) of Jhapa today finally responded to the mandamus order of the Appellate Court of Ilam issued on 20 April 2010 in which the court had ordered the DPO to register the FIR and initiate prompt investigation vis-à-vis the arrest and subsequent extra-judicial execution of Man Bahadur Rai on 20 September 2002, and of Sunil Rajbanshi on 9 January 2004.
