14 December 2012. Responding to a writ filed on 12 December seeking the order of mandamus for prompt investigation into Dekendra Raj Thapa murder case, the Appellate Court of Surkhet on 13 December has issued a show cause notice against District Police Office, Dailekh and District Public Prosecutor’s Office, Dailekh.
The writ was filed by Laxmi Thapa, wife of Dekendra Raj Thapa. The single bench of Justice Ratnabahadur Bagchand has issued the order and asked the respondents to submit written reply to the court within 15 days.
