AF Conducts Free Health Camp for Juveniles in Jayendu CRH

15 July 2024, Kathmandu: Advocacy Forum-Nepal (AF), in collaboration with the District Juvenile Justice Committee, Jayendu Child Reform Home (CRH) and Bheri Hospital Nepalgunj, conducted a free health camp for juveniles kept in Jayendu CRH in Asmanpur, Banke Monday.

120 juveniles with skin-related diseases benefitted from the health camp.

A dermatologist from Bheri Hospital Dr Asmita Gautam and Nursing Supervisor Basundhara Gyawali checked up on the juveniles.

District Court Judge Bhishma Raj Prasai, Banke Chief District Officer Khagendra Rijal, District Police Office Head SP Tulak Bahadur Karki, District Court Officer Govinda Acharya, Jayendu CRH in-charge Bimala Kaucha Magar among others participated in the opening session of the health camp.

Judge Prasai handed over 100,000 rupees to Magar provided by AF to five children in conflict of law for reintegration. Each juvenile will get Rs. 20,000.
