Rajendra Mali

Rajendra Mali, 28 (26 while arrested), permanent resident of Lalitpur, Thecho-6, metal crafts worker and farm labourer. Rajendra was allegedly arrested by the security force for being a maoist on Phoolpati 2060 at around 7:30 p.m. from the Mangalbazaar area of Lalitpur. Patan had left his home to buy goods for the Dashain festival. Ever since his arrest, his illiterate family have not seen him or received any information from him.
They have registered applications at NHRC and ICRC and visited many barracks but his whereabouts remain unknown. His wife has left his household since the incident leaving behind his young daughter. According to Rajendra's 35-year-old sister Mithai Mali he has been arrested previously for the same offence but has always been safely released.
